PSV-Ajax and United-liverpool
Now football in Britain the way we know and love it is screwed, with loveless owners changing crests and colours, prices going skyhigh, more and more tourists replacing passionate fans, all new grounds looking a like etcetera. Football in Holland isn't much better, with councils trying the ruin the game for it's fans. Most aways can only be visited using compulsary train or coach travel going straight to the ground, without actually going into the town that you're playing at. Last week Ajax played at PSV. However there were railwayworks in the south that weekend and trains couldn't run to Eindhoven, so the mayor of Eindhoven banned all Ajax fans from travelling to his town. The Amsterdam council and Ajax suggested coachtravel, but that was declined, a traindetour via Venlo was banned as only dieseltrains run on that stretch and dieseltrains' emergencybrakes can't be switched off, so they couldn't be trusted in the hands of Ajax-fans, then coachtravel to a town near Eindhoven from where a train to Philips' ground was to be layed on was suggested but declined aswell (even after Amsterdam offered to send dibble down south with the Ajax-fans to save the local police from the fuss). All in all the mayor of Eindhoven just didn't Ajax-fans in his town. But that was all a bit too easy, the mayor wanted the easy way out, the cheapest way out. That wasn't gonna happen. The night before the game loads of Ajax fans travelled south and played a cat and mouse game with the police which took the entire evening and night, using a lot of policemanpower. In the end the dibble booted most Ajax-fans out of Eindhoven, but it didn't come cheap. Next time; don't ban us!

Lionel Messi se compra una nueva casa en Gavà Mar
Lionel Messi , estrella del FC Barcelona y ganador de cuatro balones de oro que le acreditan como mejor jugador del mundo , es también un activo gestor de su patrimonio , especialmente el inmobiliario . El delantero argentino ha cerrado la compraventa de otro edificio en Gavà Mar , en una zona residencial de lujo , a la que acceden propietarios de alto poder adquisitivo .
Ha desembolsado entre 3 y 3,5 millones de euros para adquirir una vivienda de diseño ubicada en segunda línea de mar , frente a la playa de Gavà . Fuentes del sector inmobiliario han explicado que “sólo la compra de un terreno vacío ya cuesta alrededor del millón de euros , precios que pueden competir perfectamente con Pedralbes , el barrio más caro de Barcelona” .
Messi adquirió su nueva finca a principios de este verano pasado , poco antes de que se destapasen sus problemas con Hacienda . La casa , de 400 metros cuadrados repartidos en jardín , dos plantas y sótano , tiene un aparcamiento con capacidad para tres vehículos . En la misma zona dispone de un jacuzzi y un pequeño espacio para gimnasio .
Con esta nueva finca , el imperio de los Messi se expande aún más. Actualmente , el delantero argentino tiene su residencia particular en Castelldefels , sometido a reformas , y la casa de enfrente . También tiene la propiedad de otra edificación en la misma ciudad , donde solían vivir sus padres , muy cerca de la antigua casa de Ronaldinho . En este trasiego de inversor inmobiliario , Messi adquirió un piso en el barcelonés barrio de Pedralbes hace un año . Ahora añade el inmueble de Gavà Mar a su colección .

We look at some of the interesting facts surrounding last night’s win over Real Sociedad:
- Following the goals scored by Sergio Busquets and Marc Bartra, no fewer than 11 different players have now scored for FCB in official matches this season.
- Marc Bartra hadn’t scored since May 2011 in Malaga. Last night he got his second goal for Barça.
- Sergio Busquets has scored nine in 243 games for FC Barcelona. He got three in 2008/09; one in 2009/10; another in 2010/11; two in 2011/12; one in 2012/13; and has one so far this season.
- Messi got his seventh league goal of the 2013/14 season and stays top of the goalscoring table.
- With 323 official goals, Messi has equalled Raúl and has Zarra in his sights (335 goals).
- Messi has scored in the last 13 league games at the Camp Nou, every one since the win against Zaragoza last term.
- The Argentinian has scored from 14 headers during his career, 13 times for Barça and once for his country.
- The 13 headers for Barça make up 4% of his overall total. This was his first headed goal since January 24, 2013.
- Neymar scored his first league goal in his sixth appearance. Coincidentally, two other Brazilians, Romario (1993) and Rivaldo (1997), also scored their first Barça goals against Real Sociedad
- Neymar has given an assist in his last five matches, against Valencia, Sevilla, Ajax, Rayo Vallecano and Real Sociedad.
- On Tuesday, Barça completed 93% of their passes, the team’s highest tally of the season.
