Official: Jordan Henderson signs with Liverpool - Photo!

Jordan Henderson has completed his transfer from Sunderland to Liverpool FC. All in all the deal set the Reds back 20million dollars. Henderson was quoted as saying he was "looking forward to playing for Liverpool".

Liverpool reach agreement with Sunderland over Jordan Henderson

Sunderland have announced that starlet Jordan Henderson could be sold to Liverpool in the coming days after accepting a lucrative 20 million dollar bid for the English under 21's star.

Whilst the full details of the contract are not known yet, it is believed that Liverpool will buy the player outright, rather than pursue the avenue of a trade plus cash incentive. Since Sunderland have agreed to the bid it will be up to Jordan to agreed to personal terms with Merryside. His signing would mark the first of a string of players that Liverpool are looking to sign to compliment successful activity from last years second half of the season.
